In July 2021, Hyde High school was awarded the level 3 'Gold' award for inspiring CEIAG. The school's CEIAG curriculum meets all of the Gatsby benchmarks thus ensuring all students at Hyde receive comprehensive information and guidance on the next steps of their education, employment or training.

Gatsby Benchmarks

Your child’s careers education will be delivered throughout all subjects during their time at Hyde High School. Careers is delivered through bespoke lessons and follows a mapped out pathway to enable students to identify areas of development and to be able to produce key documentation needed for application to college or employment.
Students will also gain valuable careers related experiences through a range of other events including:
- Form time activities
- Enrichment days
- School trips
- College taster days
- University visits
- Mock interview days
- Careers fairs
- Careers themed assemblies
- Employer visits
- Work with external agency Positive Steps
CEIAG Software
All students are also given access to ‘Xello’ and ‘eCLIPS’ website resources. Xello is an engaging online program that prepares students for post-secondary success in academics, careers and life. With Xello, you'll have everything needed to help students build the skills and knowledge to create actionable plans for the future, regardless of their chosen pathway.
Students are provided with login details and should see Miss Amdurer if having any problems logging in.
