At Hyde High School we believe that students should be offered a curriculum which is broad and balanced, that promotes their spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development and that prepares them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of 21st century life.

In the context of our school, this means offering an academically robust curriculum, enhanced by more creative and practically based courses; we believe that the arts, physical education and technical subjects should be promoted as vital facets in the development of well rounded students. Religious Education is highly valued at Hyde, being especially important in reinforcing the harmonious ethos of our proudly multicultural school.

A wide variety of additional activities and experiences are designed to enrich and enhance the learning experience; this is key in promoting high aspirations and equipping learners with the cultural capital necessary to flourish as successful citizens.
