Students in Year 7 are placed in sets using information from their KS2 examination results. All students follow the Pearson/EDEXCEL KS3 Maths Progress course that has been created by leading mathematics educational researchers. Students advance through Years 7 - 9 in line with 2014 National Curriculum. There is a strong focus on fluency, problem-solving and mathematical progression. Our scheme of work is divided into three tiers which allow students to learn and progress at a rate suitable to their strengths, abilities and needs.
