The School Day

The school day starts with student arrivals between 8:10am and 8:40am, followed by form time or assembly from 8:40am to 9:00am. The day is structured into five one-hour lessons, beginning at 9:00am with Lesson 1. Lessons 2 and 3 take place before and after a short break from 11:00am to 11:20am, followed by lunch from 12:20pm to 1:00pm. The afternoon consists of Lessons 4 and 5, with the school day concluding at 3:00pm.

To help students arrive on time for each lesson, a one-way system is in place. Students are welcomed by teachers as they arrive and provided with starter activities to begin the lesson. A bell will sound at the end of each lesson to signal a changeover. Any students arriving later than their fellow students will be marked as late. Persistent lateness will result in a detention, and parents will be notified by text message at the start of Lesson 5. Parents are responsible for ensuring the school has up-to-date contact details at all times.
