The School Day

Students arrive between 8:10am and 8:40am, followed by form time or assembly until 9:00am. The academic schedule consists of five one-hour lessons separated by break times.

Lesson 1 runs from 9:00am to 10:00am, followed immediately by Lesson 2 from 10:00am to 11:00am. A twenty-minute morning Break takes place from 11:00am to 11:20am. Learning resumes with Lesson 3 from 11:20am to 12:20pm, followed by Lesson 4 from 12:20pm to 1:20pm. Dinner takes place from 1:20pm to 2:00pm, followed by the final session, Lesson 5, from 2:00pm until school concludes at 3:00pm.

Movement, Attendance & Punctuality

• Transitions: A one-way system is in place to support timely arrivals, with bells signalling class changeovers. Teachers greet students at the door with starter activities to begin learning immediately.
• Lateness & Detentions: Any student arriving after a lesson starts will be marked late. Persistent lateness results in detention, with parents notified via text message at the start of Lesson 5.
• Contact Details: Parents are responsible for keeping up-to-date contact details on file with the school office at all times.
