We’re thrilled to welcome your child to Hyde High School! The transition from primary to secondary school marks an exciting new chapter, and we understand you may have questions about this important step.
Our ‘Moving Up’ Information Evening on Thursday 18th June 2026, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. You may arrive at any time, and we recommend allowing at least 45 minutes for your visit.
During the evening, you will hear from the Headteacher, Ms Arnold, in presentations at 5:30pm and 6:15pm, outlining our expectations and how we will support your child’s transition to secondary school. You will also have the opportunity to meet key staff, visit our Marketplace for information on school life (including Uniform, Curriculum, Behaviour, Attendance, SEND Support, Pastoral Care and ParentPay), and speak with uniform suppliers.
Year 6 pupils are welcome to attend, and we kindly ask that other children are left at home where possible.
We also look forward to welcoming all Year 6 pupils to their taster days on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd July 2026, with further details to follow.
We look forward to seeing you on 18th June.
