Curriculum Leader - Music

Mr Anthony gained a BA HONS in Popular Music and Recording at Salford University before moving on to study for a Postgraduate Certificate of Education in Music at Manchester Metropolitan University. Mr Anthony has experience in working in the music industry having played guitar in a ska punk band since 1999. He also enjoys writing and performing music with his 2 children. Mr Anthony has taught in front of royalty and was nominated for the Classic FM Music Teacher of the Year Award in 2024. He is passionate about delivering a world class music education for the young people in the Hyde community, which he has served since 2010, and also enjoys training future music teachers.
