Curriculum Leader - English

Ms Fletcher holds an Honours degree in English Literature and Drama from the University of Liverpool. After graduating, she gained valuable international experience teaching English in both the USA and Spain. Ms Fletcher later completed a PGCE at Manchester Metropolitan University. Over the past 28 years, Ms Fletcher has taught at Hyde High School, with one year spent in Wythenshawe as a Literacy Coordinator. During her time at Hyde, she has taken on a variety of leadership roles, including KS3 Coordinator, Second in the English Department, and, for the past 10 years, Head of Department. Her extensive experience has equipped her with a deep understanding of curriculum development, staff leadership, and student progress across all key stages.
