Guidance relating to skirts

Please note we understand that different students have different body shapes and sizes; if you are unable to obtain a skirt which meets our guidelines, then trousers should be worn.

• skirts must be plain black and sit smartly on the
• length 10-cm above measure
• length length must 10-cm below
• denim cord canvas and lycra garments are not acceptable
• the style must be appropriate for a range of school activities i.e. not excessively tight or fitted
• skirts must be worn in a way that does not reveal underwear
• mini skirts or skirts with a high slit are not allowed
