Academisation

Consultation Monday 16th December 2024 to Monday 3rd February 2025

As you will be aware, there has been a close working relationship between Hyde High School and the Tame River Educational Trust for a number of months. You will also be aware that Droylsden Academy and Mossley Hollins High School are partner schools.

We are beginning the consultation process with a view to acadmising in the near future.

The consultation process outlines Hyde High School’s intentions to academise and formally join TRET, a Multi-Academy Trust. The governing body has carefully deliberated the benefits of academisation with TRET and the school believes the Trust’s mission, values and core educational purposes align with our commitment to provide the highest quality education for our children.
